Positives - nice and spacious apartment, good parking, secure, nice pool and bbq area by the river, great size balcony, awesome city views, very friendly and warm staff (Dee, the manager, was great). Very close to city, 3 min walk, 6-7 mins to beach. And it was cheap!
Negatives - not many. Room was dated, basic furnishings - but cute because of it. Walk to town meant crossing a very busy dual carriageway. Annoying but not insurmountable when weighted against the many positives.

Room tip: Get a high room, great views

We had an amazing time here. Views of the river and city were absolutely fabulous. Pool was cleaned everyday and you also have the option of the sun loungers by the river. Apartment had everything we needed and the location was unbeatable. Very chilled out and safe as you can't gain access without the security tag. The best part though was definitely the staff, Dee was amazing from check in to check out. So helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back 😊😊

Me and a friend stayed here after flying from the UK. We opted to stay here just as a base really too catch up on sleep and get over our jet lag! The apartment was basic but nice - it had everything you needed to cook etc. Our apartment had a balcony with amazing views over Brisbane as well as a pool we could use. If you're looking for somewhere to stay that is comfortable without a huge price tag then I would definitely recommend!

Initially we chose to ignore the bad reviews in the hope new management may have made improvements. Upon arrival we learnt that building is with the bank and receivership at the moment. Although the accomodation is rated as 3 stars there are certain basics I would expect such as hot water. We had to wait 45 mins for someone to let us in to the building meanwhile our groceries were warming up in the car. And the manager was very pleasant but a simple apology instead of "it must have been telstra" would have gone a long way. Door missing on cupboard in kitchen, door handle fell off in our hand for the bedroom, no aircon, lights not working, only light blankets for winter weather. Linen was clean and Excellent location is about all it has going for it.

I don't understand the bad reviews, you get what you pay for.
We paid $100 a night for a one bedroom. That was cheaper than anywhere else.
And we got a 1 bedroom apartment. Ok it isn't flash. Its 3* quality but for that price on a weekend!

It is clean, its basic, it has BRILLIANT cooking facilities (a variety of pans, pots etc) its well equipped.
Perfect for us because we cooked most nights.

Lovely balcony. Views over surfers and easy walking distance. For the cost I really cant complain at all. For that reason I rate it a great value stay and I would stay here again.
Only thing I would love, more dishwashing liquid so I can ensure things are thoroughly cleaned for the next guest!
