Saw pictures on net and booked for a couples night. Chose spa suite (said perfect for honeymooners) $165. Very basic room nice and clean. Hard bed, very old tv with video VHS. Can't hire VHS anymore so have to choose one of theirs that are 10 years old. On ad says champagne and chocalates on arrival, found out it is extra cost ontop.
This room is as romantic as a doctors waiting room. Very dissappointed. We packed up and left, the management did not charge us as we were in room less than 5 minutes.

My husband and I and Sister in law, stayed for 3 nights. The room was a 2 bedroom unit. The building has SERIOUS foundation problems with gaps of 3cm in walls and floors. External walls had been filled with no more gaps but had further separated, internal walls adjoining the bedrooms had cracks which stepped down the bricks for at least a metre. We expressed our disappointment to management who showed no interest in our disappointment or concern. The website was showing 2008 prices and the compendium in the room had 2009 calender. Don't go there...

We stayed in the Honeymoon suite - when I booked I was promised a box of chocolates and bottle of sparkling wine on arrival... never saw either of them.
The room was quite nice - very clean and an amazing bathroom!
That's about the best I can say about it. The room was rather noisy (at the front of the motel on a busy highway so probably can't expect any better).
Was woken in the early hours with no electricity, and while it's not a bad thing in general, but the smoke alarm is wired not battery powered, so every couple of minutes the smoke detector would beep. Not fun, however at least I know it's there and works!!
Its a good area if you don't want to be close to pubs and clubs.
One thing I would have liked to see is an information pack - there was nothing whatsoever. Not the first time I've been to Rocky but it's always a nice touch.
Qutie disappointing.

We stayed in a 2bed apartment during our stay and were incredibly disappointed. The 2 bedrooms were adequate but the main living area consisted of a small kitchen and an area only big enough for a dining table. There is no sitting/lounge area. This was definitely not suitable for a family stay.
When we arrived the bathroom floor was completely covered in water and the apartment had a unpleasant smell. The main bedroom backs onto a walkway which during our stay was particularly noisy with people coming and going in the night.
We wouldn't stay here again.

We spent 2 nights in a two bedroom apartment at the Villa Capri in late feb 09. The rooms were clean and bedrooms/bathroom spacious, kitchen a little cramped, but all amenities were good. TVs in every room, a VCR in one and a DVD in another. Full size fridge and stove etc available. Pool downstairs is salted, with a small waterfall and pool towels available - the photos on their website really made me think it was much larger than it was, but in the end, the size did not matter. Little balconies (but big enough), tight parking spaces, minimal toiletries but good aircons. All in all, it fulfilled a need and we would no doubt go back.
