This tour is an absolute must for all Australians and overseas visitors. The beauty of Mossman Gorge, Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation was amazing along with what we learnt from Tony. The tour was perfect from the second we got picked up to when we got dropped off. Lunch was amazing and a swim in a waterhole were all a bonus. Thanks Tony.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day in the Daintree Rainforest with Steve from Tony’s Tropical Tours. The day was well organised and well executed with regular refreshment and toilet stops and lots of fascinating facts and stories from Steve. Highlights included a walk in the Mossman gorge, boat trip on the Daintree River where we saw 2 crocodiles, another walk through the rainforest, swimming in the clear cool waters of Noah’s creek and finally the stunning beauty of the beach at Cape Tribulation. Great day out and in a small group of only 10 we certainly got that personal touch. Would thoroughly recommend.

Thank you so much Sam for your wonderful review. Finally the weather is on our side and the streams and rivers have dissipated enough for us to be able to swim safely.
I'm very pleased to hear that you enjoyed the day, we have tried to break up this Daintree Rainforest TOUR 'A' up in a way so that no one feels like they are imprisoned in a vehicle for long periods of time. The short drives in between places are a winner and all credit still goes to Steve for his repeated successful efforts in providing an excellent tour. He has won the 'guide of the year' award for two consecutive years and it shows in the many 5 star reviews he receives.
Thank you again and we hope to see you again in the Daintree Rainforest.

Richie did an amazing job of leading our expedition while informing us and making sure that everyone had a fun time! He was very knowledgeable about the habitat, the wildlife and even about Australian history and the sugar cane industry! He was passionate and dedicated to sharing his love of the rain forest with others. We saw beautiful vistas, the Boyds dragon lizard, crocodiles and even had a swim at Noah’s Valley.

Wow. Looks like it was a success all round, thanks to Richie and to the wildlife that made an appearance. What a glowing review for Richie, I knew he had a successful day when he came back with a huge smile on his face. Thank you for travelling with us, it was a pleasure to have you on board.

Great tour guide. Richie seemed to know everything from history to ecology (including enough Danish to talk to the Danish couple on our tour), and was so friendly. My otherwise shy kids thought he was great. Our group was small, and we had lots of personal interaction with our guide. We even got to see a wild cassowary with babies, which was a highlight. Be aware that in the rainy season you are unlikely to get to do the swimming portion of the trip. There is nothing strenuous about this trip, the walks are very mild. Only down side for me was not having more time at the Mossman Gorge Interpretive Center to learn more about the aboriginal history of the area. Definitely spring for the rainforest fruits ice cream at the end of the tour, and if you are a black tea drinker pick up a packet of the Daintree Tea. It’s delicious.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your day with Richie, even if the weather didn't co-operate too much with us on the day and the streams were flowing too quickly for a swim.
Richie is proving to be a very valuable part of our team . To read that he not only communicated well with the children but also tried with a Danish couple who may have otherwise missed much of the commentary is very pleasing to hear and to see a cassowary and chicks in the Rainforest is the icing on the cake. We hope to see you back again in our area with more time to explore it's hidden gems.

We visited the Daintree rainforest in the best conditions.. rain!

Our guide Randall was very engaging and knowledgeable. He was chatty in the van & on the hikes with our small group. We learnt a lot about this wonderful area and he spotted several interesting reptiles, birds and insects for us to snap. His anecdotes & stories were very entertaining.

Part of the Mossman Gorge was closed due to the heavy rain forecast but this didn’t spoil our day. Hilariously we ate lunch under a huge timber gazebo while the rain thundered down around us!

The ice cream stop is fun - we bought some Daintree tea too which is delicious.

We’d like to thank Randall for a great day out - would definitely do it again.

Good afternoon Christine,
Thank you for your great review and photos.
I do very much like your opening statement. Many guests forget that they are actually visiting the RAINFOREST and rain is what keeps it alive.
Although the conditions were not perfect on the day, I'm delighted to hear that you still found the Daintree Rainforest an interesting day trip made more so enjoyable with Randall as your guide on the day. Randall will be thrilled to read this, he has a very keen eye for spotting wildlife especially insects of all kinds and is a passionate guide as this shows in the many TripAdvisor comments we receive and complimentary emails that are never seen by the public. We are very fortunate to have him as part of our small team.
Thank you for travelling with us and we hope to see you back again soon.
