I always book a table for dinner when in Cairns. Let me explain myself. I’ve only been to Cairns three times since this restaurant opened in 1999 but the food and service was so warm, friendly and efficient I wouldn’t visit Cairns without dining here! The food is so fresh and the menu will please the most discerning patron. The service that nice blend of efficiency and friendliness without being intrusive at all. Proper service too….with waitstaff clearly trained well and held to a high standard. This place is PACKED, yet you will not wait endlessly for meal service which speaks to the way it is managed and the calibre of staff and management. Although I couldn’t fault a thing, I felt that should I have had any concerns it would have been met with grace and congeniality.
Absolutely recommend booking as they are popular and often have a queue. You may even be turned away ( which they seem to avoid but is inevitable to maintain a high satisfaction of diners)

Was great to get fitted in
Had the seafood pasta and husband had the meatballs pasta. Enjoyed both meals. Waitress was very pleasant from burri in Italia so authentic.

First time there and had a lovely breakfast. Only sourdough toast and jam together with crushed avocado on toast.
The staff were very friendly and helpful with Gonzo the standout.
The coffee as well was brewed to perfection.
Highly recommend.

Book in advance. This restaurant is very popular and is full every night! The serving sizes are quite big and the food is so very delicious!! Many options on the menu and wine list is fab! Don’t miss eating here you’ll be very happy you booked.

Started with burnt coffee ( I didn’t think this was possible these days) had the chilli eggs was basically scrambled eggs with chilli flakes.
Ordered drinks one with skinny milk one with full cream, waiter didn’t know which was which and magically came back in 30 seconds and could tell which was which, unfortunately for our daughter who reacts to full cream milk she could tell by sitting on the toilet all afternoon, clearly a pub / restaurant at night cashing in for breakfast. Suggest trying dinner here but not breakfast.
