This restaurant is on the Esplanade overlooking the ocean. It has fantastic fresh seafood, the atmosphere is refined and friendly and the service was exceptional. We had a table of 10 plus a 14 month old in a high chair. When we asked about food for the baby they offered several things they could make her and once we settled on sweet potato mash with veggies and gravy it was out in minutes, allowing her dad to get her fed before his meal came out. When our meals came all 10 were together and not one single piece of food was left on any plate - delicious. Most of us had fish/seafood but the two steaks on the table were good quality and well cooked to order.
Prices are standard for Cairns.
Wine is a bit expensive here and $15 per bottle corkage makes BYO prohibitive, this is the only minor negative I have for this restaurant.
