I did 3 days on the Reef Experience liveaboard. The rooms were luxurious, the food was delicious, and most of the staff were great (esp the captain, Sam, who went out of his way to be friendly with guests, and John and Jackson from the diving staff). The dive sites are unbelievable: turtles, cuttlefish, octopuses, sharks, and colorful reefs teeming with vibrant life.
Unfortunately, I saw two of the dive masters having their groups feed the turtles, and encouraging their divers to pick up sea cucumbers. It's really disappointing to see a company that promotes its respect of the reef having its representatives disrespect the reef with guests.
This is definitely a beginner dive boat. Most divers in my cohort had <20 dives, and the staff takes good care of you: limiting your time underwater and depth so they can keep you safe. If future reviews show their staff is respectful of the ocean life, I think this is a good choice if you're a beginner diver.
But if you're advanced (50+ dives), you'd be better off joining one of the advanced liveaboards that won't restrict your dive time, and will take you to deeper, less-crowded sites. I also did Spirit of Freedom and highly recommend it for advanced divers.
