Staff fine, the hotel is dated and the air con leaked on the single bed in the living area!
Not a great start!
It's basic but the rooms are big and quite clean. I'm not sure i would stay again. Cheap price but you do really feel it.More

We had a great few nights at the Tropical Heritage.
We found it to be great value for money (at a very expensive time of year), rooms were large, very clean and comfortable.
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
Only thing to look at was the aircon unit in our living room which didn't get particularly cool - but the bedroom was fine.
Would definitely stay again!

Tropical Heritage Cairns
This is a well built hotel. It is just out of the CBD which makes it much quieter. Nothing more than a pleasant stroll along the foreshore to access all the action. With some more attention to detail by management it would be worthy of 5 stars. Rooms are always cleaned well.

I chose this hotel for the great price and we were only staying one night. It was a good value as the rooms were clean and adequately appointed but a bit"cozy" and dated.
It was also a little further from the main part of town than I would have normally chosen but overall it was a good stay for the price.

This hotel is a little dated, but clean and efficient and the room we had was spacious; bed very comfortable! The location being one block from the city centre and one block from the esplanade was excellent. Perfect for children as a very short walk to a terrific children’s park and adventure playground. The location was quiet at night and there is ample off street parking. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Very good Motel Rooms Excellent for the price . Very comfy bed and pillows Good bathroom and shower Clean and quiet Excellent reception No Foxtel Continental breakfast for $7 . Just out of the city centre One thing the room was not serviced till well after 4 pm the only blemish
