We paid for the gold class service and we’ll worth it. The train car had comfortable arm chairs and took me back in time, with the beautiful wood and tin ceiling. This class had 2 staff who served muffins, goodies and beverages through out the trip, and added to the commentary that was on the speakers by telling us ahead of time to get ready for scenic areas to take pictures. The 1 1/2 hour ride was through a beautiful area of the rainforest and was very enjoyable. Both stations were picturesque also. Very friendly staff. Delightful trip.

Awesome. Have done train up and sky rail back and also vice versa, recommend train up and skyrail back, heightened the anticipation for cruising above the canopy

Highly recommended for adults but found it to be a little too long for young kids especially after walking around Kuranda for a few hours, we got more than a few moans and groans asking how much longer. Although saying that the staff in board were very helpful and sought families out to offer their own seating areas. Amazing scenery to look at on your way down though, needs to be seen to be believed. A must if staying in the area.
