This was the best tour I've ever been on! I wanted to try scuba diving but was pretty nervous about it. The diving instructor (Ben) was extremely patient and encouraging - I'm not sure i would have made it into the water without him! The food was great, the crew was friendly, it was an awesome day from beginning to end.

6th of February we went on a day trip with the lovely and experienced crew from seastar. We had a really great time and saw some amazing things on our trip. But the Great Barrier Reef will almost get good recommendations, but it’s not given, that a cruise will. But if I were to go again, and would choose these guys and recommend them to everyone - families, couples and friends. They are experienced and have a lot of knowledge about the ocean - we were out snorkeling with Nathan and Janis, who were very eager to explain and show us the reef. Through the whole trip I felt completely safe and in good hands of captain Alexa and the rest of the crew. The sea was “chubby” that day, so we got seasick, but that too was handled professional and with care for the passengers. In general the service level of the crew was more than we could ask for, and several times we were asked if we needed anything, wanted more food, etc.

What can I say...the excursion Seastar was simply an amazing experience. Fantastic crew all around, professional, courteous and just fun to be around. Their groups are also a great size. It feels like a private tour where you have the opportunity to meet and hangout with other travelers and not at all feel like you are just going destination to destination with a bunch of tourists.

I'm definitely going back to Seastar whenever I visit Australia / Cairns again. Thanks team!
