Great modern clean room. The only bad comment i have was the bed was extremely hard so i couldnt stay more than one night. But a handy stop over close to the airport. The young lady at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly.

I traded emails with staff at the Kingston on several occasions before we arrived. These were usually answered within minutes, really good when your busy and trying to get things organised. When we arrived the lady was very helpful and accommodating, check in was really quick, the young lady at the bar was just as helpful and friendly.
We got a room toward the back of the hotel and we didn't even hear any road noise so we got a perfect night's sleep. The room was modern and clean, maybe a little small on sone peoples standards but I've definitely stayed in much smaller rooms.
Its not far to walk to Portside or walk up Racecourse road where there are some great restaurants Overall our stay was great and I would recommend this place.

It was great to stay in this very modern and new hotel, rather than the tired old dumps that are so prolific on the Queensland coast.
I noticed a couple of whinging remarks about the hard bed and some people can't work out how to use aircon and modern bathroom fittings, (sensational shower) perhaps they need to stay in the old 1970's relics?
As mentioned, the staff are really helpful and friendly and deserve top marks for this. The rooms are quiet with the double-glazed windows closed, but you can open them, three per room, to allow outside air in.
The rooms are a little on the small size, but overall comfort makes up for any downside.
I do agree that the main apartment floors need more attention by housekeeping, being vinyl, vacuuming isn't enough, need a good wash.
Perfect otherwise, definitely stay again.

2 day stay for business and this provided me with a clean and tidy room with everything I needed. A slight hiccup with an administration issue was quickly sorted out by the friendly staff. Great stay and have recommended to my colleagues.

Room Tip: Single suites are all the same.

We phoned ahead to ask if we could check in earlier and the lady was so very helpful and accommodating. The best thing about this hotel is definitely the super friendly and helpful staff ... the best I've seen in a long time. We got a room at the back of the hotel and the road noise was minimal so we got a perfect night's sleep. Not far to walk to Portside where there are some great restaurants and also to Racecourse Road where we found a fantastic breakfast destination called "Journey Cafe". Definitely try the Canadian breakfast it is amazing! Overall our stay was fabulous the only fault we could find was the cleaners could have done a better job cleaning our room eg. a few leftovers from previous guests were found.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back of the hotel so it is nice & quiet
