We were very impressed with the Oaks on Felix. The apartment was large and spacious and the kitchen was well equipped with fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There are also laundry facilities in the bathroom. We had fantastic views overlooking the river and a nice large balcony which we made full use of. It was very clean and the towels were replenished daily along with the dishwasher powder and washing powder which I thought was very generous. It is in a good location which is good for exploring the city but nice and quiet with no noise from other rooms or traffic. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend these apartments.

Room Tip: We stayed on the 30th floor which had fantastic views!

Having recently stayed at the Oaks Felix for two nights I do not recommend it. The apartment felt dated and needed a good scrub. The pillows were terrible. Be warned that parking is very tight for large vehicles and you must advise that you require parking - it is an added charge of $20 per night. For the price of the accommodation I expected much more than I got. The staff would look better if they actually smiled. I do not like writing reviews that are not complimentary but in this instance I think it justified. On the up side it is very central and the restaurants nearby are fantastic.

I stayed here for 16 days whilst in Brisbane for work, its mixed residential/holiday units but this didn't seem to cause a problem during the stay. The staff were friendly enough and most helpful when one was after guidance on looking for certain things around the local area.

I stayed on the 19th floor, whilst it was a 2 bedroom apartment I only had one bedroom available to me due to work only paying for a single bedroom accommodation... so they locked the door to bedroom two, odd but there ya go.

Fully self contained with kitchenette and laundry, comfortable for one or two people but may be on the tight side for 3-4 adults.

The view from the balcony was great, especially at night when everything was lit up, it was nice to sit and watch the ferries pick up and drop off whilst I had my morning cuppa.

There is a 7/11 2 doors up with most small things you need but its only a 10 minute walk to Woollies and BigW for doing a small shop. Queens St mall was only a block further up so everything you need is pretty much within a 10 minute walk.

There are plenty of restaurants and fast food outlets around the place as well as pubs and clubs.

The only thing that let it down was the lack of instructions for the washing machine and dish washer, as well as the cleanliness of them... washing machine lint collector needed a big empty and the dishwasher smelled awful.

Overall, nothing special, just well located accommodation that has a homely feel.

Oh... watch out for the step up into the bathroom from the lounge area, almost broke my toes more than once!

Room Tip: Rooms that end with 3 or 4 will get a a view over the river to the Storey Bridge, obviously the high...

My boyfriend and i stayed in a standard apartment for 6 days. Pretty nice rooms, felt almost like home. Washed almost all of our cloth after travelling for one month. Nice view from 17th floor and great location in the heart of Brisbane.

I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

We stayed in Brisbane at Felix on Oaks for 2 nights and had a great stay. The apartament was on 16-th floor with a balcony and great views over the river. We had a living room with a kitchenette and a separate bedroom. That was very comfortable because we had a 11 year old daughter with us. The location could not be better right in the centre of town. There was even a small swimming pool with sauna and yacuzzi that we used. We have nothing to complain about and we truly recommend it
