Stayed for 4 nights recently ... Hotel situated about 15/20 minutes from town centre, it is close to a Free Bus Loop but this only runs until 1800hrs so no good for night time; be aware that it is situated at top of a hill so the walk back from town can be a bit of a struggle if elderly or not that good on your feet.
Staff very friendly & it has a nice roof top Pool area, small but a good suntrap if you want it.
Room was clean & tidy but I felt that parts of it were a bit worn & needed a bit of an update.
The thing that I was a bit disappointed in was the fact that the hotel is situated on a main road junction & if you have a room facing the junction (as we did) then there is a fair bit of traffic noise as the patio doors leading out onto the balcony weren't that good at sound-proofing ..
It didn't help that when we were there they had night-time road works going on (Not the hotels fault I know) ..
Would I stay again - Probably not .

Room Tip: Pick one not facing main road

very good over all, carpet in 502 was a bit worn out by fridge area, apart from that was tidy and clean, needed a mirror in the room by the dinning table, helps when there is a female in the room.
Limited features in remote control eg: sleep
comfy beds.

Fantastic location opposite the beautiful Roma Park (we visited at Christmas, there were stunning lights and an open air cinema playing Christmas films each night). Only a few minutes from town, very helpful and friendly staff, lovely view, clean, perfect

Dear johnny_raimondi ,

Thank you for taking the time to write your very complimentary review.

It was so nice to read all the lovely things you experienced during your stay, especially the Enchanted Garden and Christmas movies across the road at the Roma Street Parklands.

We look forward to welcoming you again very soon.

Kind regards,

Peter Yared, Area General Manager - QLD

This is the second time we have stayed at the Grand Chancellor Brisbane, and they did not disappoint.
For this 3 day stay we upgraded to the suite, which was a fantastic room, plenty of space and work area for two people to get the laptop out and answer a few emails each night.
The bathroom was a perfect size to share for two.
