If you’re walking along the riverside in south Brisbane and get to the heart of Little Stanley Street this place is right alongside the cobbled walkway with views of the water and where we also enjoyed the market. You order yourself and get a number and your order Iis served to you! Mexican tacos, nachos and varied menu like side order or full meals very tasty and great presentation. Reasonably priced has SOL beer and try the Christmas Mojito - pitcher for $29.00 AUD.
Enjoyed it so much we returned the next day. Sit, relax enjoy your meal inside or out fully shaded and watch the world go by!

We arrived at Cactus and there was only one table empty, we got a menu and ordered some food, it was all very nice, fast and not that expensive. We should definitely recommend Cactus republic to other people.

As a family of 8 including 2 under 5s we were pushed to find somewhere to eat on a Sunday lunch esp as two family members are coeliac. Not much on the menu was gluten free so they could only have tacos. two members had nachos which apparently were very salty. I was happy with my avocado and corn fritter stack. A good place to watch the world pass by and prices are not too bad. waitress was friendly and smiling

Don't do it! Worst food ever! Margarita an absolute joke! Big mistake. Made looking forward to and having the desert a saviour (different restaurant)
