This is a mid range hotel in a great location over the road from the train station. It has all the amenities required even if a little dated. It is also walking distance to central Brisbane shopping and South Bank. The cleanliness left a little to be desired but wasn't anything too major.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking Roma Street have a balcony

This hotel is located directly across the road from the Transit center great for the Train and bus services, We stayed here for 7 nights our first room was on the 15th floor great views, but due to a small issue we were upgraded to a lower level with a walk in shower and a washing machine and dryer, very comfortable and clean.
Apartments may need a spruce up but we were more than happy with our stay.
Reginald at reception was very helpful to us and should be commended

Room Tip: when booking ask for a room with a walk in shower, and washing machine as no laundry there

Stayed at these apartments for 4 nights.
First room given us had torn carpet adjoining Kitchen. Opted out of this one and was upgraded, on looking in wardrobe spare blanket was dirty and had human hair entwined in it. Also a PowerPoint placed over the hot plates had begun to melt, wonder why.
Upgraded to Deluxe, which was marginally better. Dirty marks on floor and furniture.
Shower screen, which was not that old had mould or dirt along the bottom of it.
The tv in the bedroom had about a 6 metre extension lead, coiled attachhin it to a powerboard. All PowerPoint and light switches had dirt around them. They had advertised Foxtel, there was none. Supposed to be free WiFi in the foyer, it was Brisbane Free. Admittedly the are currently having WiFi installed. $20 for undercover parking per day. Very few people used it. They have large black piping around the garage, presumedly grey water, but very difficult to see. Should have some visibility tape on them. I backed into one causing damage to the rear top of vehicle, causing some damage. I have stayed in hotels throughout, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, New Zealand in recent years and this hotel is by far the dirtiest poorly maintained accomodation I have stayed in.
The units are mostly privately owned, so I can understand if all reviews are not like mine. I can only comment on the 3 rooms I saw.
The Reception staff here are excellent, especially Nikki, a young Vietnamese girl, who handled my situation very professionally. A ready smile and great attitude, she is my only real positive about Abby.

This was a great place across the road from Roma St Station. Apartments were well equipped with everything we needed. Short walk to the mall and also to art gallery & museums. We would definitely stay here again

Stayed overnight for a rugby match at Suncorp (Lang Park). Caught train from Gold Coast and Abbey on Roma is right across from the Roma St Station exit. Suncorp is about 10 mins walk via The Barracks and Caxton Street. Was expecting the standard inner city room with enough space to step outside to change your mind and a pod bathroom. Actually got a nicely appointed one befroom apartment with laundry facilities and kitchen with fridge, microwave and sink. The room is a little dated. There is a new vanity, splash back and mirror in the bathroom, which is where the washing machine and dryer are also located. Otherwise tiling is dated and tired, but for the price if you're not overly fussy it's great accommodation in a convenient location. We will certainly be back.
