“Very Disappointed”
Reviewed 7 December 2011

We found our overnight stay to be very disappointing, with rude and unprofessional customer service on reception; a constantly running toilet that disturbed us throughout the night; badly stained carpets and mold-stained shower - to name a few of the things that most concerned us. We were part of a group booking attending an event over the week-end, and our impressions were not isolated. We certainly couldn't recommend that anyone stay at this hotel, and we have no intention of repeating the experience.

Room Tip: Higher floors would probably be less noisy.

Firstly let me apologise for the unacceptable issues that confronted you on your stay last Saturday evening.

Having been advised of your complaint I undertook to investigate why such an outcome had occurred. What you have described is not the usual standard of this Hotel.
My investigation has revealed a flaw in our processes and procedures’.

A refund representing the cost of your accommodation has been transacted onto your credit card.
We greatly appreciate your feedback and the issues you have outlined have been corrected.

I sincerely apologise on behalf of the Hotel and Staff.

Best regards,

From the moment we Walked in the staff were rude and unhelpful, buy the time we were in our dirty carpet stained outdated cockroach infested 2 bedroom appartment we realized the doors were broken, half the power points did not work, we had half a carton of milk left in our fridge open! The door keys failed so had to be replaced so we could gain access to our room, and the parking is extra! Little to no room service at, all this for $285.00 for the night! I would not recommend this place to anyone who enjoys hotels.

Stayed 1 night after long distance bus trip. Very close to transit centre but is a far walk to Queen St Mall. Parking is limited. Absolutely amazing view of the river from our room . Probably let down alot by the very worn tired carpets and fittings. Room clean . No bedside lights and standard lamp was leaning over broken.
Staff extremely helpful to the point the girl who was on when my husband arrived gave up her carpark for him. Breakfast good but could have been a little hotter. Overall good value for money and really just needs a little money spent on redoing things to be really great.

I recently stayed one night in this hotel and found very good. It is close to downtown area with many attractions such as casino, restaurants and bar, shopping and dinning in queens street etc. all close to the proximity of hotel within 10 minutes walk. The hotel is facing Brisbane river and you can enjoy stunning view of river and Brisbane city from the higher floors. Room was nice, neat and clean with all esential amenities and staff are veru friendly. However, the cost could be expensive unless you get a special offier.

Room Tip: Look for higher floor facing Bruisbane river

We found the front desk staff very friendly and happy to assist with questions about sightseeing, shopping and eating out. We were very happy with our room, as was nicely decorated and spacious. Buffet hot/cold breakfast amazing value at $16.50 and food was excellent.Located so close to Roma St Transit Centre was certainly a big bonus for us. Also easy to cross bridge to Southbank and Queen St Mall only about a 10 min walk
