South Bank is a must place to visit either you are single or with families. A good afternoon or evening stroll along the bank would make your day a memorable one. Plenty of restaurants and eateries that would suit your taste buds.

Great place for families with small children as there’s play equipment and the ‘beach’ area but other than that it is a bit plain. Has some good cafes and restaurants nearby but are a bit expensive.

We enjoyed this area of Brisbane very much. We explored the restaurants, museum and art gallery, took water taxi, listened to music, watched opening runner of Commonwealth Games run through, watched street performers, explored Malaysian house and gardens, looked at market.
