Very nice hotel in Brisbane. Upscale from the moment you walk in, and centrally located with an exit directly to the Queen Street Mall. It's close to heaps of shops, and only about a 3 minute walk from Central Station and the Queen Street bus stop.
Getting there from the airport is about $40 with Uber or $18 on the train (short downhill walk, but going back would be uphill).
I stayed here 3 times and was upgraded to an executive room the 3rd, due to a noise issue on a previous stay.
The executive rooms are slightly nicer than the standard rooms (with the creamy carpets). The room layout is very similar to the Sydney Hilton's.
My only complaint is that televisions are quite old/blurry and could do with some updates. The air conditioner is a bit loud, but can easily be turned off.
The breakfast buffet is fantastic. The executive lounge was quiet and spacious, but at the time I was there (around 3pm), there was not much on offer.
There is a swimming pool, gym and tennis court on the property.
I look forward to coming back again next year, hopefully they'll upgrade me now that I'm a Gold Honors member.More
