Since we hit two other restaurant earlier, we decided to try African/Ethiopian this week. Food was nothing I imagined and rather familiar taste, my wife's.
we had 4 different dips, tasted like lentil, salsa, raita & one more I couldn't identified. Then the main, lamb, goat & chicken. All tasted similar to thick gravy Indian curry. The bread, it's looks & tasted between dosa and pancake, enjoyed them. Couldn't try their native beer, sold out. Did try Ethiopian coffee, very different from neighboring country Greek & Turkey. Bit watery & nutty, later asked waitress then found there're ginger & cardamom, loved the serving ceramic pitcher.
Well last couple weeks, Brisbane is having very hot weather and hard to dine but just imagining dine in their country.
There were quite many large pack (more than 10), a few couples and threesome with 2 waitress you can imagine but no one complained. This will be the place we will bring our friends.
