Booked here as a result of good previous meals & experience.
Service is attentive, food quality is reliable, location is handy within CBD & views are more than acceptable - particularly from outside tables..

Not one of those resturants where the quality or attentive service varies on different visits..

This is one of the must do things in Brisbane It is an iconic restaurant. They have special offer dining options which are good value for money. We have been there many times and never been disappointed. The views are stunning. The staff always friendly and of course the food is great.

George's Paragon Seafood Restaurant is situated on the upper level of Eagle Street Pier and overlooks the Brisbane River with wonderful views over to The Story Bridge and Southbank. The staff from the moment they greet you, seat you, take your orders (even being every so patient while you ask what's in certain dishes and if you can have it altered a bit), taking drink orders through to the final settling of the account are so friendly, efficient and helpful. The food is absolutely delicious and well presented. We had a fabulous long lunch, made even better by the pleasant staff and surroundings. Will definitely be coming back.

I came here a few nights ago while staying here for 2 weeks. Now I'm back again 3 nights later. The first night I had the basic 3 course set menu. Starting off with the seafood chowder which, I must say, has a generous helping of seafood portions. It also has a crab leg sticking out of the bowl. Very tasty. Next up was the paragon chicken, a Camembert based sauce over a chicken breast with a slice of mango on a bed of rice. Very tasty, even though I don't like Camembert. The last course, dessert of the day, didn't get a look in as I think over anticipated my appetite!
Now I'm back again and the chowder is just as good, especially the little freshly baked roll. Mains tonight is the seafood crepe and is similar to the chowder in its supply of seafood. It's almost like a thicker chowder wrapped in a crunchy crepe.
Atmosphere wise this place is right on the water and has been busy both nights. Plenty of staff running around and very attentive. Not sure about dessert tonight...... Fingers crossed!
