This is a simple yet nicely appointed cafe/restaurant in the busy Rosalie village. I'd walked past Salt many times, but had never ventured until a recent Sunday morning outing.
The breakfast menu had a number of interesting options, and I settled for the duo of sausages whilst my partner chose the frittata. Both meals were excellent and plentiful, leaving us full well into the afternoon.
The service was generally good, but the guys doing the welcoming out the front gave me some completely incorrect information regarding allergens in one of the dishes. Fortunately our waitress had a more detailed knowledge (but we shouldn't have to ask twice - c'mon guys, these mistakes can put people in hospital).
