This place was sensational. Excellent and attentive service, great food, cold drinks and top location. Couldn't fault it. Will be back, to be sure.

I went to Copperface Jacks with a MeetUp group and thought the place had a great atmosphere. The waitstaff are friendly and you never need to wait long to order a drink. I had the beer battered fries with a few glasses of white wine. A few in the group ordered meals and were very happy with their choices. Highly recommended!

Dined at this restaurant on a Monday night and it already had a crowd of around 40 people there when we arrived. The one and only wait person had a lot to do but managed to greet us and get us seated. The restaurant had a special that night that included a main course and a glass of beer or wine and was very reasonably priced. We decided to select from the menu rather than take the special and our selection was to have Kilkenny beer battered fish and chips. The food was excellent. We unusually decided to accompany the fish with as bottle of red wine. It was quite hot when it arrived at the table and we observed that the wine rack was located next to the kitchen. It took some time to get the wine to cool off and we were lucky to be seated alongside the footpath so we did get some cooler air that helped bring the wine temperature down. At the end of our dinner we decided that we would certainly return to this restaurant but would probably choose to have a chilled white wine at that time.

This place is well set with good lighting, comfy seating and a simple but well designed menu.

Service was excellent with staff attentive and alert to the tables needs. Food was tasty, we had the shared steak plate that was more than enough for 2 medium sized eaters.

Friend had the pasta which was well presented but perhaps a little under seasoned. Price wise this place is mid range but value was ok considering what we got for the money spent.

Live music is a nice touch but was a little loud on the night making conversation difficult.

Over all good experience which is important in today's very competitive hospitality market.

Trendy restaurant in trendy area. Love the fact that they have Black Pudding on the Menu. Great wine list and great fun food.
