I just stayed at this hotel for the third time in four weeks. Again I found the reception efficient, the rooms modern and well appointed. I particularly liked features such as the usb chargers on the bed side tables and the location a short walk from the restaurant bonanza that is South Bank. Some rooms overlook the river but generally the views are not great. My ongoing choice for Brisbane business trips.

We booked a room here by phone, and were told at the end of the booking process that there was a 2% surcharge on credit card payments, which is 1% more than many other hotels charge. This surcharge has become so common that it may as well be incorporated into the cost of the room.
The room itself was modern and comfortable, and the bed was excellent. Temperature of the room was also good. Sound insulation between rooms is good, but noise from the road is easily heard. Housekeeping is a bit dodgy - we had to ask for a toilet brush after the room had been cleaned.

I arrived at about 7 pm, and left at 6 am, so a very short stay. Check-in and out was friendly and straightforward.
The room was quite spacious and modern. I had a balcony with a good view of the river and the lights. Not quite a view of the city, but an enjoyable view none the less.
Excellent parking options and only a short walk to many restaurants and a supermarket.
Very enjoyable stay.

A central location, very clean and spacious room with plenty of features which helped it feel like a home-away-from-home.

The downstairs café also served good beer and popular meals so didn't have to leave the hotel if I wanted a night 'in'.

Stayed for 2 nights to be close to SouthBank - it's a few minutes walk from southern end of Southbank parklands. Large comfortable room, pleasant staff. But I had booked specifically for a river view and paid for the "superior river view room" - completely false adverting as the view is almost completely obstructed by another building - small views of river at the edges. I was so disappointed and it rather spoiled my stay. Staff at reception tell me the description of rooms like this is to be changed, which is good.
