Every week I travel for nearly 1hr to visit this wonderful bakery .. tradional French treats , the breads are amazing . I have never come across anything like this in brisbane . True French . Not just a french name like many others in brisbane. Christian has a talent that he uses well . Do yourself a favour and visit this wonderful bakery.

I go here all the time to get the delicious coffee. If you are feeling adventurous there are so many pastries to try.
The service is the best around. The staff are so lovely and accomodating. I love visiting Jacques.

We saw their ad, went to try their wares. It was about 11:30am, so they'd nearly sold out. We had the raspberry tart, almond berry tart, quiche and we were supplied two apple crisp scrolls complimentary.
The flour is imported from France, therefore, it comes sans chemical filled from pesticides and herbicides.
The raspberry tart: the case was crisp. The custard was sweet and creamy. The raspberries were tart. All together made a delicious dance on the tongue.
The almond berry tart: the case was crisp. The almond has a light fluffy texture. The blueberry was tart. The tart would make a nice dessert with clotted cream.
The apple scrolls were divine. They had a nice crumb. Crisp to the bite. A little sweet glaze. And quite a pleasant mouthfeel.
I didn't try the quiche.
I would recommend coming here each week.

This is a small, Retail Patisserie which has coffee as well. Great French bread and assorted pastries.

The very best bread, croissants and pastries. Only doing this review because Jacques' hard work and talent deserves the recognition. Personally, we are already getting up too early to ensure we get our batards, baguettes or croissants. As for the pastries, they are superb.
