Was very happy with our overnight weekend stay. The location was very convenient, only a few steps to restaurants and clubs. The room was nice and clean with provisions of toiletries and coffee making facility. The request of an ocean view and late check out was promptly granted, thank you. Check in and check out was fast and efficient. Aircon was little noisy for a quiet night sleep but overall, we had a good stay.

Six night stay in a one bedroom apartment. The location is great and the view was good. We had a lovely week. As for the hotel - a mixed bag:

I agree with other comments here that communication at/before booking was not great. I didn’t realise the pool was out of action or that there was no daily housekeeping service. For $300/night I expect housekeeping - I had come from a competitor’s apartment hotel in Darwin for work and daily housekeeping was no problem there so when staff said it’s “since covid” it was a feeble excuse. I will say that staff were generally very helpful with requests. As for the pool, we took advantage of free passes to the wave pool and that was awesome and made up for the lack of hotel pool.

The room was fine - a good size, excellent shower. We could hear plumbing during the night from other rooms but not too bad. We enjoyed our time.

One thing I will say - why do so few hotels seem to be have actual double beds? It’s always two singles pushed together!

Overall, I had a great week and enjoyed the stay but not sure it was worth the price.

Room tip: Don’t expect perfection and you’ll have a great time

Thank you for your review. We are glad that you enjoyed most of your stay with us.
However, we deeply apologise for the miscommunication about the housekeeping service - the accommodation packages that we have do not include daily housekeeping and this is not because of covid or since covid. In fact, this has been in place about two years before covid. I will personally speak to each team member to ensure that they are communicating the proper information to our guests. Though we do not offer a daily housekeeping service, our team would gladly top up amenities, refresh towels and remove rubbish upon request.

As a Platinum member staying in several Accor Hotels as well as other brands around the world, this hotel stands out because of its excellent customer service. The hotel is also clean, comfortable and at a convenient location.

Location is prefect to see darwin. Acommodation is getting a bit outdated. Not worth the 4,5 star to me. But the room is tidy and spacious. The views are also nice if you have seaview. Beds are good.
Aicon couldnt keep up with the heat, and is located above the bed.

Breakfast is good.

One of the worst hotel experiences I had in a long time. Travelling with 3 others on business.
Rooms not ready at check in.
Staying on different floors and elevators won’t let me go above my floor to colleagues rooms.
Room/elevator card stopped working half way through stay.
No room cleaning service if staying under a week.
Pool out of commission.
Staff not really that keen to help with issues.
I won’t be back.

However, it is true that the key to the room can only provide access to the floor where the room is located and this is for security reason. We understand the inconvenience that this may have caused.
