For a great stay in Darwin I recommend Palm City Resort for comfort and convenience. Ten minute walk to town or the harbour or the cliff top walk which goes for miles.
In house breakfast is great and the rooms comfy, clean and spacious. My wife loved the pool to cool off after a walk.

Room tip: They have secure parking but don’t park under the trees. The bats will make a mess of your car. Book early for best deals.

Had a wonderful stay in one of the bungalows. It was lovely to have privacy, peace and quiet, and the lush green garden has a tropical feel. Strangely, the switch for the main lights inside the bungalow was outside on the deck, there was no switch inside. It seems that the main hotel rooms have been beautifully renovated, but the bungalows are still in original condition (which is fine, just not as fancy and modern as the hotel rooms currently). The guest laundry is handy.

We love the convenient location, casual old darwin feel staying in a tropical villa. Tropical well maintained gardens and pool, daily room service.
Have stayed before and have a favourite villa. We stayed 1 night in one of the normal rooms, nicely renovated and spacious.

Room tip: Try to avoid school holidays.

We had an enjoyable 5 night stay overlooking the pool area - the rooms are not overly big but have all the amenities including microwave & spacious fridge if you need them. The guest laundry is handy & wifi available(it can drop in & out).
The room & bathroom are clean. Staff were great.
The Palms is a short walking distance to various places to eat. Would stay again!

This place is a must stay if you are in Darwin. Although our room was small it had all we needed....you don't stay in Darwin to stay in your room.
Great location, with the Darwin hotel just around the corner, and the Darwin Waterfront precinct and easy walk.

Room tip: Great pool , but get there early as it fills during the afternoon, I guess it's something to do with the Pool Bar!
