Stayed at the resort for a few days and were fairly happy with out chosen location. We stayed in one of the bungalows and although a little cramped and outdated they were clean and well maintained...The staff were extremely helpful and friendly with suggestions of what to visit and in organising transport....The great part of this resort was its closeness to restaurants, transport and the beach..it was also set amongst wonderful gardens which gave a sense of privacy for those who were in the bungalows..it was also fairly quiet...I would definitely stay there again

We like to be able to walk to most everything when we spend a couple of days in a new city. The Palms did not disappoint. We were close to the waterfront, CBD and even made the hike to Mindil Beach for sunset. We stayed in a villa, which was perfect for us to spread out and rearrange what we had packed. We faced the street, the villas away from the street would be more private.

I also stayed in one of the hotel rooms for one night when I left our group for a side trip. They were plain, clean and comfortable.

Staff was helpful, the air conditioning worked great and having a fridge was nice.

I would stay here again. It wasn't fancy but the convenience was worth it.

We had bungalow No 213, which was almost completely private and surrounded by lush foliage. It was impossible to tell that we were on the edge of a city. The room was rather smaller than we would have liked, and there wasn't really any room for our suitcases, but it had the all important fridge..and the bed was comfy and the bathroom had a walk in shower. Room would have been too small to really self cater, but the balcony was large with proper table and chairs. Great for a morning cup of coffee/tea and an afternoon glass of something cold.
Breakfast was reasonable, but the location was excellent - a step across the road to the park and the sunset. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the neighbourhood.

Room Tip: The bungalows are definitely worth paying extra for.

Have stayed it this location for years and would highly recommend it service seemed to have dropped a little this trip but could of been other reason for this so won't change my view on it although the buffet breakfast is still very poor and wouldn't recommend it.

Relaxed atmosphere right in the heart of the city. Comfortable villas with tropical verandah to sit out and watch the sun set through the trees on the Esplanade. Walking distance to so many attractions - don't miss coffee on Speaker's Green in Parliament house - just over the road. Highly recommend for all travelers- single or families.

Room Tip: I thought a villa near the Esplanade would be noisy but I was wrong - great sleep and lovely to sit...
