Travelled with our 9 and 10 year old daughters who had never been camping before on a “kids ok” Darwin to Broome tour with a group ranging in age from 9 to 74. It was amazing. Our guide Sean was great and catered for all abilities and personalities really well. His cooking was second to none with the camp oven honey soy chicken a hit with the kids and roast pork with crackling and all the trimmings a hit with all.

We came expecting spectacular natural beauty and were not disappointed. The aboriginal rock art, culture and stories were an added bonus. Favourites were Purnululu for the sheer scale of the place. Bill’s place for the history snd his amazing storytelling. Manning Gorge for the great walk in and rock jumps was a favorite for water loving kids as was Bell Gorge.

The bush camps under the stars in swags away from crowds was a great getaway from the city. You get exactly what the brochure says - not luxury but an absolutely amazing experience and would highly recommend for those with kids and a sense of adventure. Kids (and adults) who don’t like getting dirty will be over it by day 2!

Finishing the tour in Broome was great with a Cable Beach sunset and Broome is a great place for a few relaxing days at the end of an action packed trip.

Sunrise over the waters of Lake Argyle from your swag, beautiful sunrise walks, swims in crystal waters surrounded by incredible scenery as old as the earth, gorgeous displays of birds and animals, meeting other lovely travel minded individuals, the amazing secret rock art locations, rare private talks with aboriginal elders and station manager mates and secluded camps next to remote billabongs which come from Trent's unique knowledge, skills and many years of guiding throughout the area.
You will eat too much, you will eventually get into your swag with dirty feet and it will take at least two showers to get clean at the end....but I can not recommend this journey through the Kimberley enough with Kimberley Adventure Tours for anyone looking for a truly incredible, unique adventure that you will never forget.

A brilliant trip in a brilliant location with spectacular scenery. The camping and food was top notch with the seclusion away from everyone brilliant. We enjoyed everything about the trip which was managed expertly by Trent who stayed calm with the inevitable flat tyres. There is no way I would put my vehicle on that terrain so would highly recommend Trent and KAT for anyone thinking about doing it. Thanks

Wow what a trip and what an amazing place the Kimberley is. We travelled from Darwin to Broome on the family friendly tour (3 families with 6 kids in total aged between 7-12) with Heath who was the most amazing tour guide. Heath was exceptional in the way he interacted with the kids on tour and his knowledge and obvious passion for the country he was navigating us through was outstanding. We all felt we were part of something special. Amazing scenery, bush camping in fabulous locations, delicious camp food which we all pitched into make including a roast and yummy chocolate cake. We became a well drilled team in setting and breaking camp each day. Sleeping in swags under the stars and awaking with first light ready to take on another day full of wonderful gorges, swimming holes, rope swings, rock jumping, croc spotting, learning about the land and aboriginal culture. Stunning red earth, plenty of dust (you soon learn to embrace the dirt with kids wearing their dirty clothes as a badge of honour) and bumpy roads but that just added to the adventure and we loved every moment. Thank you Heath for helping to make memories which will definitely last a lifetime!

We just got back from the wonderful Kimberly's.
Our exceptional guide Trent who has a wonderful diverse knowledge of the area, flora and fauna wasn’t kidding when he greeted us with “this will be the cleanest you will be until we get to Broome”. So the adventure and a fun time began.
Loved swimming with the freshies, the many interesting hard and ruff walks were a challenge but having some level of fitness, we loved it. Sleeping in swags with the wonderful stars above and seeing this beautiful region was just wonderful. The bush tucker was great to try but Trent’s cooking was so good that we were asking for recipes.
It was easy to pitch in and help with the setup, food preparation, cleaning up and collecting firewood.
Thank you Trent for making this trip so wonderful and memorable.
