“Darwin Wave Pool- fun for all ages!”
Reviewed 29 March 2012

I spent a week in Darwin with my sister in March 2012 and we visited the wave pool one morning. What fun it is! Even for "more mature" ladies like ourselves. We had a lot of laughs riding the waves on tubes and boards (supplied) and felt completely safe away from well known Darwin bities ie crocs and stingers. Lifeguards are very vigilant and warning alarms ring as the next wave formation is about to begin. Great for families of younger children too, as there are lovely little pools with bubbles and sprays to keep them cool. At $5 for a morning session (10am - 2pm) or $8 for the full day till 6pm it is an affordable and fun thing to do for all ages. There was possibly a family ticket but I didn't really take much notice so can't advise on that. Teenagers (who are sometimes hard to keep entertained) would just love it. The wave pool is just another attraction that helps to make Darwin the fabulous destination it is today.

“Expensive food and little of it”
Reviewed 28 March 2012

The fish and chips at the Wharfe start at about $13.00. The fish served is slightly bigger than 2 fish fingers and generally imported. Very sad considering this is on the Wharfe at Darwin.
