Owner description: A B-52 bomber (one of only two on display outside the U.S.) is exhibited here along with other military aircraft, engines and the wreckage of a Japanese Zero fighter shot down in the 1942 air raids on Darwin.

Particularly liked the B52 bomber and the tiger moth. Worth a visit and was $15 per adult but our fee was included in our tour. Can’t remember other prices.

It's worth the trip just to see the B52. One can't appreciate its size until you see it for yourself.

So much history and hands-on relics in this amazing museum, we spent 5 hours wandering and reading and contemplating the amazing array of items. A very enjoyable afternoon.
We did go looking for a coffee after our visit and unfortunately had to leave the complex and find it elsewhere, more's the pity. I also think for a few dollars extra a self -guided tour would be a positive thing, as we missed a guide who can give you a more personal view of this historic place

The Museum opened for our cruise group on New Year's Day. A must for a military historian and paraphernalia collector. Hangar has wide range of aircraft through numerous eras and old airstrip 300 yards/metres (or so) away had more. Some descriptions need more elaboration and to be updated. But well worth visit while in Darwin.

Cannot believe the size of the B52 it fills the whole place. Was very impressed with the displays and video information.
