MAGNT is an excellent museum with a variety of exhibits for all ages. Cafe and gift shop were worth visiting. Definitely the place to go on hot, humid Darwin day.

Spent 3 hours working through the exhibits. Well presented and easy to walk around. Lovely variety of displays from Aboriginal art work; maritime boats; NT history and Cyclone Tracy. Well worth visit and cool out of 36C day outside. Nice coffee shop on site too.

Fabulous Telstra Aboriginal Art Award collection from August to February every year. This year was the best ever, amazing works in a variety of mediums. The Museum collection is also interesting, the Cyclone Tracy exhibit wonderful and the collection of boats upstairs is fascinating. Cafe on site and a great gift shop. Darwin Ski Club is across the road if you want an alternative type of meal.

Loved the art gallery, so many different things to see -not just paintings. There is a nice shop, and also an eatery. We did not eat there - just had a drink, but the food all looked good.

Excellent Museum - something for everyone - must see when in Darwin. Not really interested in indigenous art an so I'm glad it was closed.
Cyclone Tracy section was fascinating - reconstructions, artefacts and images, videos & sound recordings. They need to make it a bit bigger and suitable for more people - there was one interactive story telling console but there was only one and could only be operated by one person at a time.
Taxidermy was excellent, fresh, not raggy, mangy or rotting away - might not make the vegans happy.
Boats and historical info was excellent. They need to advertise the Cyclone Tracy section more!
