Good hotel. Well appointed clean rooms, good location. BUT here's the downer! Due to cars lined up at the front door and not willing to leave the car in a labeled clear zone I parked the car myself, only to have some bloke ?manager? leap down my throat before I had even got a foot out of the car. Call me delicate, but as a paying guest I don't expect to be spoken to like an 8 year old school kid. If this rule is due to insurance or whatever I honestly don't give a proverbial! That is no excuse for poor customer relations!

All rooms non-smoking which is great :) rooms are huge! So much space, easily the size of a self contained unit and the bathroom is huge too. Really impressed with the cleanliness. I stayed on the 2nd floor and my view was of a concrete pilon... But I really didn't mind as sleep was much more important to me and the room stayed nice and dark in the morning when the sun came up :) there is a microwave and plenty of gear to make your own food. Only a sheet on the bed which I thought was weird (I had to use the blanket in the cupboard) but I guess that's because of Darwin weather?!? Had the $15 buffet breakie which was nice with good atmosphere. Right in town which was super convienient. Big screen tv, comfy couch - very happy!!!

This hotel was designed with the environment in mind, its a definate selling point. Its close to all the shoping malls, is clean and spacious.Breakfast is extra but there's plenty of it and the hot food is freshly cooked which beats the bain marie style breakfast,

Down sides are that there's no wifi or business centre - very frustrating for a business traveller. You pay extra for breakfast, and the one big disappointment is that the restaurant doesnt do dinner so you have to order room service from the restaurant down the road. The staff were not engaged, they did what was asked but that was about it.

Excellent location and large, clean good value rooms if you do the 3 night minimum deal. No choice but to use valet parking if you want to be off the street which seems advisable since it's right behind the trashy monsoon bar. So budget in the valet parking. Otherwise good.
