very good value

Have just spent a few days here. Did a 3 day trip into Kakadoo and the hotel stored our suitcases while we were away. A trip into the outback is recommeded!
The motel is clean and comfortable with a little kitchenette in the room. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is good - a ten minute walk into the small city centre.
I would definately stay here again if I return to Darwin.

Motel is ok,price and location top

The motel is located close to the botanical gardens and the mindl beach and its a short walk to town.
It is very quiet and there are a lot of car spaces.
The staff is really friendly and helping. The rooms have got a good size and are normal clean. The price is ok for what you get.
The pool area is really big and there a few BBQs which are really clean.
I would definitly come back and recommend this place!

Excellent value for money

Only 12min walk to the Esplanade, 10 min walk to shops, pubs etc, quiet and for $60 per night for a self contained studio room it is very hard to beat. The aircon and fan were excellent. Free WIFI for the room too.

A bargain, but with downsides

I stayed here two nights in transit through Darwin - in two different rooms. In both cases the rate was very low, a true bargain. On the other hand it has problems. It is a long way to most eateries. The rooms are well furnished, but not well maintained: missing lightbulb, wayward shower, noisy fan. Housekeeping seems to do a rushed job. Worst for me, the reception has limited hours - so think twice about it if you arrive/leave early or late.

Great value

This is a very clean hotel and great value for the price. You are close to the downtown but it is quiet and comfortable. We did not use the pool, however, I did enjoy running in the area. You are also close to many attractions..quite central. Very easy to get there from the airport.
