Owner description: Crocosaurus Cove allows visitors a unique, up close and personal view of massive saltwater crocodiles, crocodile hatchlings, juveniles as well as being home to the World’s largest display of Australian reptiles and the famous Cage of Death. The Cage of Death is the only cage in the world that brings you face to face with some of the largest Saltwater Crocodiles in captivity. Remember to bring your bathers and ‘Swim with the Crocs’ in our unique swimming area that allows you to get up close to our very active juveniles. Don’t miss the chance to feed these hungry juveniles as part of our latest attraction, "fishing for crocs" ...this is a photo opportunity not to be missed. Meet the reptiles and learn more about the Top End’s unique and favourite critters such as Western Bearded Dragons and Olive Pythons. Check out the barramundi in our 200,000 litre freshwater aquarium and don’t forget our gorgeous top end turtle enclosure. All this and a daily program of fun & interactive reptile activities await you at Crocosaurus Cove, in the heart of Darwin City.

We went on the VIP tour and it was absolutely amazing. It is extremely interactive and the guides are extremely knowledgeable.

This attraction really surprised us as we happened upon it as we were walking along the city street.

The attractions and shows were impressive although for a relatively young attraction signs of wear and tear are evident.

The crocs inside were excellent and the ability to view them from all different angles was great.

If this is the best way to treat animals. You be the judge. Small pools of water nothing resembling a natural habitat at all and definately designed for the tourist. But this is not how we treat animals. Staff. Well looks like a job like any other.

There's some very interesting things to see and do at this place. Reptiles are very active, really large crocs on display and fish feeding. Check the activity schedule before you come. Bring your swimmers and get in the free swim tank - with a very thick partition between you and lots of baby crocs so you can get photos that look like you're swimming in their tank, and you can cool down! There's a cafe on site.

We spent a day checking out the Crocosaurus Cove. The educational talks were great and humorous at times. We bought lunch onsite and was served by a lovely lady who was from Melbourne and still hasnt aclimatised to Darwins heat.
The animals seem well looked after and the croc areas were very clean. My highlight was cuddling a baby crocodile. Definitely a must do for all ages.
