We payed with a debit card yet still paid 1.1% charge NOT A CREDIT CARD? Which is clearly different from instructions in terms and conditions! Why? We look forward to expiation and reimbursement.Apart from this upset we were hoping to stay here again.

The hotel needs a major overall and update and it appears that this might be happening as on the outside there is a lot of construction. We are Accor members and reception upgraded us to a 2-bedroom suite on both occasions which was wonderful.
A number of things in the room need to be looked into by management, the couch is very uncomfortable, and the fridge needs to be repaired as nothing good be stored in the door.

The restaurant food was OK but again the menu was limited. The location was excellent and the staff wonderful.

Loved it, great location and the rooms are very good, spacious and well presented. Reception staff are friendly and efficient, nothing is too difficult. However the real hi light was the Poolside Restaurant, a great setting to enjoy and very nice quality menu. A must visit.

Disgustingly overpriced. We paid $600 a night for a very basic room that I would give a 2 star rating, at best. Stained carpets, chipped paint on walls and damaged furniture. The gym is so small, it does not support social distancing.

No prior information pertaining to the construction going on around the entire perimeter of the building. Or that the restaurant is not open on weekends or public holidays. We attempted to utilise the Mercure across the construction site for breakfast, but were told of an hour and a half wait, so a quick Maccas run took place before heading out on a tour. Room service comes with an additional cost. Surely you could have taken that out of the nightly fee.

The 'block out' curtains struggle to block the blinding white light being utilised throughout the entire night to light up the construction area. The balcony, although a nice thought, is filthy due to the construction occurring.

The only highlight was the staff, they are lovely.

Highly disappointed!! Won't be recommending and won't be staying on our return next year.

Room tip: Don't bother staying here

This is a good spot to be for early morning flights as its only a short walk to the terminal. But better than that, there is a free 24 hour shuttle but operated by the hotel. Just tell them approx your leaving time, and you are sorted. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. not big, but fine for a nights stay. There is roadwork happening at the moment, so that detracts from the view, but it's a minor point. No room service, but, you can take a short walk to the Mercure next door, and pick up what you want off their restaurant menu. Its pretty good, definitely worth it for an early start.
