It was a genuine surprise to me to be able to get a decent amount of tasty Thai and Indian dishes in Central Australia of all places! The restaurant was quite busy and even though I did not arrange for a booking, the extra tables for non-reservation customers were in the lobby of the Double Tree so the atmosphere was still pleasant. The service here is quite decent as even though English isn't the first language of many waiters, they would make the effort to repeat your order to make sure they got your orders right.
I tried the Lamb Rogan Josh which to me was the highlight of the evening as the lamb was tender and the gravy flavourful. The Vegetarian Spring Roll is really good too, chunky with ingredients and I would highly recommend trying the sweet chili dipping sauce. The duck meat of the Red Curry of Duck dish was so-so, but the red curry is really appetising and I would suggest spooning it over a plate of rice (Note: It cost 3 AUD per rice bowl). The Crispy Whole Fish wasn't that great as it was dry and not worth its charging price so I would not recommend people to try it.
This restaurant is a bit expensive but if you pick a few dishes or are looking for something different from the typical Western food fare, it's definitely worth a try!
