It was very fortuitous on my part to have booked by chance on the inaugural trek for 'Life's an Adventure', hiking the highlights of the Larapinta Trail. With tour company owner Mark, his dad and staffer Joel leading the way we experienced exceptional service, top notch glamping (much appreciated after a full day of hiking), hot showers, foot baths around the camp fire, hot water bottles, great wine and cheese, meals, etc. After a couple of days camping it was nice to shift gears and experience the historic homestead at Glen Helen. Beautiful scenery, amazing food and warm beds. The walk itself was wonderful, not too difficult and the scenery, colours, flora and fauna of the Australian bush are awesome. Most of the places we visited we were on our own to enjoy, which was surprising as this is a great time of year to visit. Not too hot and no flies.... With more than half of our group having trekked with 'Life's an Adventure' before, it was very evident to see why they would choose to again, as I'm sure I will too. Great job guys, well done!! Till we meet again. Thanks for an awesome adventure.... Lindy

Whilst it is about 5hrs travel to Kings Canyon - do allocate at least 8hrs or stop overnight at Glen Helen to enjoy the many sights and stops.

this is a brilliant experience, however you need to do your training before you set off. One of the best walks its right up the list. Epicurious is a wonderful and professional company to do this walk with the food and guides were outstanding.

Awesome trek! Stunning sceneries. Highly recommend it.
From 17 to 22 August 2014, Nicole, Aran & Simon took care of our group, aged between 34 and 75.
Those 3 guides were very professional & friendly, and impressively well organised.
Weather was incredibly nice, although nights were chilly - nothing that human warmth cannot overcome though.
Coming back to the camp each day after the walk and being greeted by a hot shower was a luxury we all enjoyed very much.
Ascending Mount Sonder at night was really the pinnacle of the trek. Waking up at 0100hrs to start climbing at 0230hrs is really, really worth it. Sunrise saw us at the summit, drinking hot tea and eating Tim Tams (thanks Nicole!).
That was our first "supported" trek, and we are already looking at doing another one.
Huge thank you to our 3 guides, Nicole, Aran and Simon and to World Expeditions.
