“Well worth to visit”
Reviewed 19 March 2017 via mobile

I am always interested in reptiles of all kind. And this centre gives a pretty good idea about Australian ones including the most venomous one. It is good to take part in one of three presentations a day. The centre's people know a lot about their animals and handle them nicely. And it is also a nice experience to touch some of the presented animals.

“Nice way to spend an hour or two”
Reviewed 12 March 2017

As someone who used to have a permit to have lizards, frogs and snakes, I'm always keen to see how others set up their enclosures and how they care for them.
I wasn't disappointed. The staff were amazing and very knowledgeable
The demonstration of handling smakes was good and as someone who has been bitten by a snake twice, I appreciated the solid handling of these creatures. Snakes don't worry me and I was pleased with how they were managed.
Venture outside to find some monitor lizards and other reptiles. There is also a saltwater crocodile called Terry you can see.
If you aren't reptile savvy, then this is a good place to start. Staff are great. Facilities excellent. Wheelchair friendly. Plenty of parking. Toilets clean. Refreshments available.

“Super rare venomous snakes”

We were there with a former employee. We did miss the show but everyone who saw it was very complimentary. You are essentially right nest to all the snakes

A great opportunity to get close to snakes and lizards and a croc. Rex's presentation is highly entertaining and informative. A worthwhile visit.

“very informative”
Reviewed 5 March 2017

Came here on tour - very interesting talk by guide focusing our attention on first aid if we ever got bitten by a local snake - completely different to fist aid actions as home so will keep that in mind. All reptiles appeared to be content and enjoyed getting handled - none stressed out. Great friendly, informative and knowledgeable staff. Well worth a visit
