I have had the pleasure of wearing pearls purchased from Australian Opal Cutters and Pearl Divers for many years. They have been beautiful, timeless and well worn. Hence the service they provided when taking them to get restrung was outstanding. They sure do go above and beyond. Would recommend their unique style and specialty service highly!

Near Pitt street mall is this interesting little shop. We went to redeem our free freshwater pearl earrings from the I venture Sydney tourist card . After picking the earrings, we had a lesson on the various types of opals. There are rough and finished stones, and jewelry for sales. Fascinating for rock enthusiasts or jewelry shoppers. The staff was nice and there was no sales pressure.
