The staff were really friendly! We had no idea what we wanted so they were very happy to sit us down and take us through all the different opals and pearls, and go through everything we wanted. They were patient, friendly and welcoming.

Hidden in an old building and behind a locked door, the shop looks mysterious with a Harry Potter feel. But once we entered, we found the place actually a workshop where jewelry is made, which kind of explains why they can offer a wide collection of pearl and opal jewelry at very good prices -- they cut the dealer costs between the producer and customers. The sales person was nice and professional. We ended up buying a beautiful south sea pearl necklace. I later compared some other pearl shops and did not find any place that could beat our price given the same quality of the pearl. Overall, it's a wonderful shopping experience.

Having seen these places only on TV, we saw a sign and thought why not.... We hadn't booked but I recommend booking. They are extremely welcoming and treated us warmly and with no expectations... we went in just with the feeling that so we could say we had been... and yes we walked out with items and feeling amazing... catering to every budget... will go again when next in town
