Reading the other reviews makes this one seem redundant as we all seem to have had the same enjoyment and experience.
We didn’t expect to have enjoyed this beautiful place as much as we did. Perhaps it’s the vibe, but I can guarantee you that if it’s a piece of tranquility and calm that you crave then get your -spiritual- self to this beautiful oasis in the middle of this bustling city.
How’s the serenity?

Thank David B

Cup of tea (quite a few types to choose from) some yummy dumplings and a side salad, sitting beside the waterfall splashing over the rock wall, one of the most relaxing things ever, and the staff were so friendly and pleasant, AND all this in the middle of a busy, bustling, major city. Highly recommended.

What a superb spot to spend an afternoon in the sun! If you need to escape from the inner city stress and pace, a visit to this lovely garden will nourish the soul and leave you feeling replenished. The teahouse is situated to the right as you enter, and they do recommend you view the garden in an anticlockwise direction which means you come here last. There are sweet treats like scones w jam and cream and a variety of cupcakes and pastries. There are also light meals like dumplings, quiche and salad or gourmet rolls but I am here for the traditional tea! There are 12 different types of aromatic loose leaf teas and they are served in pots. I chose the green chai that had hints of cinnamon, anise and ginger. Very refreshing whilst looking over the lily pond!

In such a tranquil setting and the tea was 'real', no tea bags used here! Real tea leaves and served in a real tea pot - delicious!
