We just had dinner at Jackson's on George (PJ Gallagher's Pub) which is several establishments in one building. The food in the pub was excellent and very reasonably priced. If you are looking for hearty traditional Irish pub food this is a good choice. I had Irish stew and my husband had a lamb shank stew. The portions were large. We also ordered a side of steamed vegetables which were tasty and perfectly cooked. We would recommend this restaurant/pub.

I've visited this place with my friend, we've bought drinks, sit at our table and did nothing wrong, but bodyguards didn't like it and they asked us to leave, I've rejected and said to call manager and they just throw us out and even didn't let us finish our drinks. I've submitted chargeback to the visa because they didn't provide us service we have paid for.

This bar/restaurant was located near our hotel and was a hidden gem. It is an Irish themed bar and the menu boasts some Irish favourites as well as traditional Aussie fare. The food was delicious, and the portions large. We noticed the crowds here in the evenings queuing up to get inside, but it was quieter during the day. The staff were very friendly and made you feel so welcome.

Great Irish pub with wooden furniture and various areas for seating. I love the decor. Food came quick and was tasty. Depending on your noise tolerance level, it can get rather loud in there.

We were staying at the Four Seasons directly across the street from this restaurant and thought that we would give it a try. One afternoon, our family stopped by for lunch. No one greeted us, so we assumed that we should just seat ourselves. The place was 20% full, which made me a little nervous. The tables and menus were sticky...which appears to be a common complaint. It was nearly 5 minutes before a waitress finally appeared from the back. She looked at us several times but never came to the table. It was actually kind of awkward given that hardly anyone else was in the restaurant. After 10 minutes of waiting for service, we got up and left. If the owners are reading this, please note that your waitress cost you a table of six on Friday July 28th. It certainly appeared that you could have used our business. Anyone staying at the Four Seasons would be highly advised to go to any other nearby tavern.
