We had hoped to come here for dinner but we were close by at lunch time so changed to a lunch date instead. We found this restaurant a little tricky to find as it is just a door in the wall because the restaurant is below the footpath. I'm not sure if there is any access for wheelchairs etc, since we needed to descend a steep set of stairs to reach the restaurant.
We were seated quickly even though the restaurant was very busy.
The staff were friendly, although our final assigned waiter was brisk and didn't say much or lend any extra words than strictly required. This was fine with us though as we didn't feel like small talk since we had just walked around the city for over an hour.
We shared our meals, and both were delicious. The meals were delivered to us efficiently, and we did not have to wait very long for them after ordering. This was without a doubt the best octopus dish I've ever eaten. The octopus simply melted in the mouth, it was very tender and nothing like many of the grilled octopus dishes I've had in the past that have been a bit (or more) chewy. The salad accompanying the octopus complimented the flavours of the grilled octopus perfectly.
We also had the moussaka, and it was moist and tasty, it was everything you could want from a moussaka including the delicious bechamel sauce.
The meals were reasonably priced and we would happily return here again.
Free wifi is available here.
