“Syndney Brunch with a great coffee”
Review of Social Brew Cafe

Social Brew Cafe
Ranked #9 of 6,401 Restaurants in Sydney
Description: Kitchen closes at 3pm Monday - Friday & 3:30pm on weekends. Social Brew Cafe - something of an oasis of good food and drinks in Pyrmont. Where, let’s face it, the cafe options aren’t as abundant as one would like. Which isn’t to say we’d just head there out of necessity; Social Brew Cafe is a stylish spot, with great service, as well as that aforementioned delicious feed. In the main cafe space, dark walls and hanging lights give Social Brew an industrial, stylish feel. Splashes of red, as well as big windows that open up onto the verandah and trees outside however, give proceedings a welcoming, friendly, relaxed air. Speaking of the “verandah”, outside is where you’ll want to be when the weather’s good and you’ve got a posse together to congregate over a smoothie, or a coffee, or a plate full of pancakes and bacon. Or, let’s face it, all of the above. Social Brew Cafe is found on Harris Street in Pyrmont, just a short walk from Darling Harbour.

Our first morning in Sydney and really looking forwards to an Sydney brekkie, and this place did the business. Excellent coffees all round; we had cappuccinos, lattes, flat whites and long blacks all good. Highlights for eats were the Slow cooked northern beans - luscious rich sauces beans with a chorizo sausage and crispy kale, eggs Benedict (of course) and the ricotta pancakes - light for pancakes with ample strawberries and pistachio maple syrup. We will be back.

Excellent service with fairly priced meals. In a sea of overpriced avocado on toats the social brew offered large well priced breakfast with delicious coffee to boot.
