If you are contemplating trying this place, do yourself a favor and go! We had coffee, fresh juices and breakfast and everything was seriously delicious! If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. Staff also super friendly, seem like they all get along really well and it just feels like a smooth operation. Love love loved it! We’ll definitely be back

We enjoyed the best service, breakfast and coffee. The food is delightful and original. While the coffee is fantastic. This was our fourth visit for breakfast and I would recommend that everyone should experience excellence at least once in their life.

Terrible service.

When I complained that I had received uncooked eggs to a waiter, he and the chef proceeded to gossip and laugh at me from the kitchen.

We had brunch on a Sunday at the Social Brew Cafe; we had booked ahead and that was a good move as the cafe was full and there was a queue (about 15-20min wait). They do, however, turn over tables quickly. The wait staff were friendly, very efficient and helpful. You got a sense this was a happy place.
The menu has all day breakfast options and a good selection of lunch options (also available all day). The eggs on sourdough were generous (we had scrambled and poached) and the side of bacon plentiful. The ricotta hotcakes with strawberry and maple syrup were a highlight as was the slow cooked lamb tagine served with grilled zucchini, chickpea couscous, labne and crispy flatbread.

The only meal that was probably a little on the small side was the wagyu beef burger. It would have been a little bigger and more interesting but this is a very small criticism.

We would highly recommend the Social Brew Cafe if you are in Pyrmont.
