This is the third time I decided to eat my fav dumplings in this place. So invited couple of friends to show them this place. But this time was very disappointing. Seems like something change. The serving staff was different (South American?). And the quality of the dumplings very average.
Seems like nothing can beat the quality of dumplings at Din Tai Fung!
I don’t thing I will return back. The famous Missy K dumplings list their taste and uniqueness and let others catch up!

came here for a dinner feed on a Monday night. We were the only ones at the place so service was quick. For entrée, we ordered the prawn and scallop dumplings and the gyoza. Entrees were cooked to perfection. For mains, duck pancakes, crispy chicken noodles and Sichuan pepper "Wagyu" flash fried w. snowpeas & pak choy were decided on by the group. These were served immediately after the entrée. The duck was divine. Just the right combination of flavours. My son enjoyed the crispy chicken noodles while commenting that the chicken was not the dodgy kind. The Wagyu meal was average. Service was quick and fast and person serving us was very attentive. Would come back here again with friends as the ambiance is very intimate. Ideal for a small group of people on a Friday or weekend.

Went here for quick feed after watching some football. Dumplings were spot on with good flavour. Prawn pad thai was also nice.

The two plates of dumplings were inedible.... thick, gluggy and cold.
Pork and coriander and chicken and shitake.
Filling actually good.
I discussed this with the waitress who said she would take them off of the bill.
Pork gyoza marginally better but not good!
Wok fried asian greens was just bok choy in soy sauce.... at $14.90!!!
Duck pancakes were very good!
The gyoza was taken off the bill which shows that the waitress was not even listening to my feedback.
There are so many good dumpling places in Sydney so give this one a miss!!

Shame to say but I have no idea who could enjoy this place . Our order was taken wrong and we waited for an hour for dumplings, when they arrived they were overcooked - the delicate case ripped, way too much chive for the proportion of pork. The duck pancakes once again had massive pieces of cucumber and spring onions and that completely overpowered the slivers of duck. Overall, it was very wrong on so many levels, don't go here for dumplings ever.
