My partner declared it the best BIG breakfast he has ever eaten and he has eaten quite a few in recent years! It probably had something to do with the fact he is English born from a farming area where big breakfasts were the norm ... and the Irish influence here included Black Pudding, Irish Sausage, home baked beans, roasted potatoes, not to mention lashings of bacon and creamy scrambled eggs with a board of Irish Soda Bread and butter.

I chose 'The Botanist', Buttered Greens, Mashed Avocado, Leaves & Seeds, Poached Eggs with a side of their delicious beetroot cured salmon.

Everything was delightful, as was the accompanying lilt of Irish voices of other patrons, obviously a favourite of Irish ex-pats in Sydney.

I devoured the mushroom and haloumi breakfast with gusto and could not fault it - and we all know haloumi isn't the easiet to cook. Filling, beautiful and enticing presentation. Served 7 of us with a smile, quickly, efficiently and without fault within minutes. Wish they were open Tuesday mornings, I would have gone again the very next day!

Please note on Sundays it is just all day breakfast. After reading the lunch menu we were looking forward to it, but got stuck with limited options.

It was still a decent feed and filling. Coffee was quite good and panacotta finished off ok.

Don't know how this place is rated so highly amongst the quality of cafes throughout Sydney. It was ok but have had many better.

Twenty 8 Acres could well be THE cafe, designed for me and the best ever. The youngsters running it were delightful, serving up my perfect breakfast with humour and warmth. The cafe is attached to, but separate from, the Adina hotel. the food is simple and possibly modern, although I am unsure of what a stack is. All best ingredients, cooked beautifully and well presented. If you are staying anywhere near, this is the spot for breakfast, smoko or lunch.

We dropped in here several times and the food is excellent. Its a shame it is not open in the evenings as it closes at 3pm
