We booked a one bedroomed apartment for our week in Sydney. The staff were very welcoming on our arrival, and continued to help us with their knowledge of the environment, ie closest supermarket, where to catch buses etc. The apartment could not have been better - full kitchen, large bathroom, excellent laundry, roomy lounge/dining, and comfy bedroom. Very quiet - despite being located on a busy street we could hear little traffic noise unless we opened a window. Five minutes walk to Darling Harbor (Cockle Bay) and five minutes walk to Town Hall Rail Station and Woolies supermarket! Would certainly both recommend to all my friends plus return there next time I am lucky enough to stay in Sydney.

Room Tip: Our shower was over a very deep tub - so it might be a good idea to request a walk-in shower if appropriate to your age and agility!

My wife and myself did our usual research on Trip Advisor and other sites as we had booked a two week cruise on the Sun Princess out of Darling Harbour. We where looking for accomodation for six days with self catering facilities, close to the Action and boy did we choose the correct hotel and location. If we could give THE Mantra On Kent 10 stars we would. Great SERVICE Great LOCATION and great PRICE.The front of house team could not have been more friendly and efficient. We used Room service and the restaurant on the first day (untill we purchased our supplies for our self catering) and the team there again where great, nothing was to much trouble to anyone. Our studio apartment was refreshed daily to our suprise as in other establishments we have used, the word self meant self ! but not here. It was our first extended stay in Sydney and when we return it will be at only one place. To All the Team at The Mantra On Kent Thank You.

Room Tip: Ask for a floor at the rear above floor twelve as you get a good view of Darling Harbour over the Wilson carpark

Stayed 2 nights in a studio apartment for business. Location was very close to Cockle Wharf and the city centre. The apartment was very roomy and clean and modern. It had a bath and shower and a washing machine and dryer, a fridge, hairdryer, Sink, Microwave, oven cooktop, king size bed, tv with free to air and some pay channels and a DVD player. The sofa could sleep a 3rd person and there was enough crockery cutlery and glassware for 3.

The satff were very friendly and always helpful. Breakfast was $15 for a buffet which was good value.

We booked a family suite (two separate rooms with a central entrance foyer), which gave plenty of room for a couple, baby, and two friends - it also meant the babysitter could relax and watch TV in one room while the baby slept in the adjoining room. Location is close to Cockle Bay and the attractions of Darling Harbour, shopping in QVB/city and trains at Town Hall Station. Secure parking very reasonable at the parking station next door ($12/day on weekends). Full kitchen and laundry included in suite, so great for a longer stay family break.

Our family of 5 adults stayed in connecting roomsn 24th floor where a single entrance branched off into 2 units: thus we were able to close off each room for privacy when needed. The room my husband, myself and my adult son shared was very roomy and I particularly liked the fact that we could screen our bed with sliding glass doors for a bit of extra privacy. The rooms were spacious as was the bathroom; appointments modern but comfortable.

The location was excellent: 2 minutes to Darling Harbour and China Town and 2 minutes to Westfield and the heart of the shopping precinct.

The staff were extremely obliging and helpful: even processing our airport check-in for us.

As it was a short trip (2 nights) to attend a wedding, we didnt have the opportunity to dine in-house but I investigated the restaurant and it appeared very welcoming.

I wouldnt hesitate to stay here again.

Our dual-key 2 bedroom apartments are very popular as they offer additional space for a family, as well as being able to be split off for additional privacy when required.
