Farmhouse Kings Cross is a fantastic restaurant that serves a four course set menu that showcases the best of Australian produce and cuisine. The menu is varied and inventive, with dishes that are simple yet refined. The portions are perfect and the presentation is beautiful. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous, and the ambiance is rustic and elegant. Farmhouse Kings Cross is a great place to enjoy a memorable meal.

This place is a real gem. My son has eaten there several times but this was our first visit and we will be back. Hidden away and seating only a few customers the service and food are exceptional. It’s a set four menu at $85 which only changes once a month, so unless you don’t mind eating the same thing several times over it’s a once a month treat. You can do a wine pairing but we opted to chose our own wine from the excellent wine list. Just to give you a feel for the food we had bread and snacks de jour, followed by the fish course of Murray cod, cime de raps, sea herbs, fragrant broth followed by the main course of Bannockburn chicken cooked over charcoal, roast potatoes, cultured cream and fried skins, salad of bitter leaves and herbs, yuzu kosho condiment and a dessert - mangotta banana, pecan, cacao. It was all delicious and served with a smile. Couldn’t asked for anything more.

Still the very best restaurant in Sydney. Unpretentious but outstanding. Tried the new menu last night and everything was superb. Excellent value for money - love it!

Really quirky venue. Found ourselves seated outside an adjoining nail bar near a busy crossroads, but felt comfortable and part of the Kings Cross community.

Service is very friendly, cocktails are great and the food is superb. They serve a set four-course menu so tough luck if you don't like what's on offer, wouldn't recommend to people who have constraints on what they can/will eat, because I got the distinct impression that there isn't an alternative.

Everything we were served was absolutely stunning, certainly the best meal we had during our stay in Sydney (and given what you get for your money, probably the best value too).

Another awesome meal by Mike and the amazing team at farmhouse. There are no bad courses they are all fantastic and the value for money is always great.
