Had a wonderful first time at sokyo! The food and service was both amazing. I would really recommend the beef robata and the bay bug. Adam was an amazing waiter, and he made the experience 100x more enjoyable!!!

I'd have to say out of the posh Sydney establishments - Sokyo would have to be my absolute favorite. I've dined there easily over 30-40 times and I can say that the food has been amazing and consistent each time. Service can be hit or miss as they have a large turnaround of waiters but food and cocktails are always on par. Try the Crispy tuna roll - there's nothing like it anywhere else and would have to be the sole reason I keep going back. The oysters with yuzu granita and the sashimi platter is also to die for.

Wow, different! Hot Breakfast and buffet Continental Breakfast Japanese style for $30 or $28 for guests at The Darling Hotel at The Star Casino! Very tasty and pleasant decor and atmosphere! Service was prompt but staff could have been a bit happier...a smile and greeting goes a long way. Go for the food!

What can I say!!! From the welcome from staff as soon as we walked through the door, to the food, cocktails and to top it off our waiter ADAM!
This whole experience has given me faith that as a customer we are just not a number in a seat, our waiter Adam made us feel so relaxed and his vibe was electric, never felt so comfortable from a waiter. His cocktail and food recommendations were spot on. Thank you for making my birthday an experience I will not forget.
Will recommend to anyone to hit this restaurant up!
