I was told about the guided tour as I paid my $6 entry and am so pleased I went on this free tour. It just added another dimension to everything that you see. Learning the history and why plants and hallways are positioned in certain ways. Found it just fascinating. And it was all for free. Then you carried on looking for yourself.

I really liked this place and will go back. Although not as good, it reminded me of the Ives St Laurent garden in Morroco. It's very peaceful. Just watch out that you don't accidentally step on one of those large lizards like I almost did!

The Chinese Garden offers a serene and peaceful spot where visitors can take their time to appreciate the beauty of nature. Despite being situated right in the heart of the city (skyscrapers serve as its main background), the place seems devoid of the stress of the hustle and bustle of city life.

I had a lovely walk through the gardens at the end of the day just before closing. The staff were very friendly and I didn't find myself rushed. Although it is only early spring the gardens were still very beautiful and worthy of a visit.
